English speaking nanny for boy of 10 months, 35-45 hours/week.

We’re now looking for an English speaking nanny to look after a boy of 10 months. Both parents will be working, mum partly from home and they need someone to look after him 3-5 days/week initially but will within a couple months for sure need 5 days/week. (Happy for the nanny to start on 5 days a week now if the nanny wants to). They believe the position will continue at least until fall 2024, so we are looking for a long-term nanny. The family is Swedish but would like an English Speaking nanny for the boy to grow up bilingual as they might move abroad in the future. 

The boy is a happy person who likes to be out and about, to explore and learn new things. They family are keen on the nanny taking him out on activities and for the nanny to create a stimulating environment for him to grow in. It’s also important for the family that the nanny is experienced in cooking for children. They would like all the food for the baby to be cooked from scratch and for ingredients to be locally produced and organic as much as possible. 

As a nanny in this family you are expected to apart from looking after the child to as mentioned above, cook, keep toys organised, tidy up after the day’s activities and tidy up the kitchen/load and unload the dishwasher after cooking and mealtimes. The family has a cleaner so no cleaning or laundry is needed. 

The family is looking for an experienced nanny with minimum 3 years experience in childcare with this age group. Ideally the candidate will also have a childcare qualification but the most important thing for the family is for the nanny to be experienced, outgoing and knowledgeable in child development to help the boy thrive and develop.

The family lives in Östermalm, close to lots of fun museums and parks to explore. 

The position will commence as soon as possible, during 2023, family can wait a little longer for the right candidate.
