We’re now looking for an after school nanny for a family in Djursholm. The family has three children aged 2, and twins of 7 years old. The job is to pick up the three children from nursery and school and to take them home. Both the nursery and the school are within walking distance so the nanny doesn’t need to drive. The children have activities some days and other days the nanny will be required to help out with homework or create fun activities for the children in the afternoons. Cooking dinner for the children is also included in the role. The family is a bilingual family (Swedish and English) and have had englishspeaking nannies before. They are looking for an english speaking nanny to help the children continue to develop their English.

The family is looking for a positive, creative and mature nanny who can offer flexibility. They will sometimes need help full days if the children are sick, they will need help 2-5 evenings per month and the nanny will sometimes finish at 18.30 but will sometimes need to stay to 20.00 if the parents have to work late.

Someone with experience from previous work in childcare. The children are described by the mum as fairly easy children, very happy and good listeners. The 2 year old can be a bit cheeky as most children his age can be, but he is always very happy. The working hours will be Monday-Friday 14.30-18.30/19.00

The family is happy to offer guaranteed hours, which would mean a fixed salary for 80 hours/month and all hours worked above that paid on top.

The nanny will start the day with helping tidying up the home from the morning before she goes off to pick up the children. The nanny will be responsible for cooking for the children on a daily basis as well as keeping the kitchen and dining area clean and tidy. The nanny will also be helping out with the children’s wardrobes, hanging clean washing, taking it down, folding and putting it into their wardrobes. Some ironing will also be needed. A nanny who is naturally organised, tidy and happy to help out with some household chores is required. No cleaning as the family have a cleaner, but someone who is happy to help out with light household work is needed.
